Anne Curtis becomes a bride in “The Wedding”
Kapamilya actress, Anne Curtis is back in primetime with her new teleserye on ABS-CBN, “The Wedding”. The beautiful pinay celebrity will play the character Candice and will be torn between two of the most sought-after kapamilya actors, Derek Ramsey and Zanjoe Marudo.
The story will focus on Candice who was born with a golden spoon on her mouth that always dream of having a wonderful wedding to her long time crush and childhood sweetheart, Warren played by Derek Ramsey who unfortunately left Candice (Anne Curtis) for the states for some reasons. Candice found out that her parents who played by veteran stars, Michael De Mesa and Eula Valdez were already planning to separate that’s why Candice thought of something that could stop her parents to pursue the separation process. Candice will be engaged to Marlon played by Zanjoe Marudo who is a construction worker who works for her parents’ construction company. Candice’ parents will try to stop her from marrying Marlon because of his indigent status in life. Warren will then comeback to fulfill his plans to Candice and that’s how the story will run its twists and turns.
“The Wedding” will air its pilot episode on Monday, June 29, 2009 lined up on the primetime bida of ABS-CBN replacing Kris Aquino’s Pinoy Bingo Night. Will Anne Curtis be able to mark her character as “Candice” to the viewers? It’s really a gamble for the kapamilya network to come up with this kind of show although the series is an all-original concept; the title itself is quite not appealing to the masses. Well, Let’s all leave it to the viewer’s verdict.

Anne Curtis is a good actress. But this teleserye seems not challenging for her. I wish her luck in her new telenovela.

Watch “THE WEDDING”! You will not just gonna get mesmerized by Anne’s pretty face and very fashionable style. Her sassy performance as Candice will alsosurely make you “SMILE”. She’s absolutely perfect for the role! Go Anne, you rock!

Being a good actress is about giving justice to the character that you’re portraying. And Anne is doing a very good job, continually improving her craft. She has gone a long way from “HIRAM”, “MAGING SINO KA MAN”, “KAMPANERANG KUBA”, “DYOSA” and now “THE WEDDING”.You truly deserve more breaks.Wish to see you more on big screen as well. I can’t wait to see “MAYBE THIS TIME” to be shown. It’s ok to work with other film outfits if Star Cinema is don’t give you movie project. Continue being sexy and pretty Anne. I also wish for you and Sam to be together again for real, on TV or on movie. All the best!
