Controversial actress Gretchen Baretto once again wants to prove the public that she will still dominate not only the music scene (does the album really sold a thousand?) but of course, her come back in doing what she was used to be known, back in acting. Gretchen, together with Ton-Ton Guttierez and Phillip Salvador were the cast in the special episode of ABS-CBN’s Maala-ala Mo Kaya to be aired on its new time slot this coming Saturday, July 19 due to insistent public demand(for the timeslot schedule only my friends!).
A different Gretchen Baretto will be seen in this week’s episode of MMK. She will be marrying Ton-Ton Gutierrez here and will live in a very miserable life with their children. Award- winning actor Phillip Salvador will be portraying a politician who, in the long run will have an affair with Gretchen. Poverty will be the main reason why Gretchen will be provoked to accept Phillip’s offer of love having a wealthy life with him just to support her family’s needs most especially her children.
After all of the intrigues and controversies that Gretchen Baretto encountered and still encountering like the most recent ATM issue with Ruffa Guttierez, rumors about separation with her live-in partner Tony Boy Cojuangco which they both denied, and defending her younger sister, Claudinne Baretto to the “Tarayan” issue with its own Kapamilya star, Angel Locsin, (well, what more can I add to these issues?!) Gretchen never fails the viewers with something new to her showbiz career.
In a recent interview with Gretchen, she said that she wanted to leave the country just to escape all the eyes of the people who are scrutinizing her and throwing a lot of negative feedbacks on her. I just wonder if it is for good or for the meantime only?
