Marian Rivera was the personal and first choice by the family of the late Mars Ravelo. According to the siblings Ruby and Zaldy Ravelo, Marian was the only actress that they knew who could give justice and would definitely suit the character of DARNA. “Marian has a different kind of charisma. Children and even guys really liked her a lot; she has an extreme audience and viewers appeal no wonder she is now a big star.”

If Iwa Motto is known for having some extra pounds in the past, now Iwa has a flat stomach that can be compared truly with Marian Rivera.  Iwa have really worked hard to have a washboard-like stomach for this fantaserye.

Iwa Motto is also thankful for giving her the role of “Valentina” (a medusa like villain) as an archenemy of Darna. She have promise that she’ll do her best to play the character and will provide realistic fight scenes with Marian Rivera.  In the past “Darna” remakes “Valentina” was played by Celia Rodriguez who is also included in the current cast.

GMA-7’s top leading star, Marian Rivera also ramped a couple of times on stage while rumored boyfriend, Ding Dong Dantes happen to appeared on such separate parts of the program. The two kapuso gems just made their appearance together on the last part of the celebration along with the hundreds of stars closing the 59th anniversary special.

In an Interview, Iwa Moto narrates that she really regrets for the time that she was not able to take care of her father during his last few days, when he aired his last breath and during the time of his wake and cremation. When Iwa Moto knew that she’ll not be able to go to Japan to attend to her father’s wake, she just went to Francis Magalona’s wake instead.  Iwa Moto talked to Francis and asked for a favor to deliver her message to her father Hirawaki that she really loves him and apologizes for the time she was not beside him when he was in pain.  Iwa Moto is now planning to go to Japan to bring home her father’s ashes to the Philippines.

When Iwa Moto was asked for her message to his father, she bursts into tears. “Kahit alam kong malayo ka, alam kong .. gagabayan mo  kaming dalawa ni Mickey,(her younger sister) sana andyan ka lang palagi para samin.  I Love you Pa, sobrang mahal na mahal kita, sorry kung wala ako noong mga panahon na naghihirap ka, sorry.”
