The intrigue just won’t stop against Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin, but does it mean that she’s still that in-demand in showbiz? Because of her passion in acting, she was able to save money and acquire a lot where the actress is currently building her four (4) storey house in a prestigious subdivision in Quezon City. From the watchful eyes of people around her, juicy reporters overheard that the luxurious house was a benefit from a very wealthy new boyfriend.

As explained by Angel Locsin during the grand opening of the “Shop & Share” at Gateway, Q.C. The intrigues are very unfair to her, “I’ve earned it through my hardships and dedication in acting.” Locsin explained. And when it comes to budgets, she knows herself better and she is very conservative in buying stuff for own self.

Angel Locsin is currently in the US to attend the Emmy Awards night. She is the only pinay celebrity who is being nominated for the category as Best Actress on a Drama series for the teleserye, “LOBO” of ABS-CBN where in Piolo Pascual was her leading man.

John Lloyd Cruz will be having his new leading lady in his next project in ABS-CBN and this time it will be Angelo Locsin. The rumors have a very reliable source, that’s why Lloydie and Angel are the ones who are placed beside each other in the latest Christmas Station ID of ABC-CBN.

John Lloyd Cruz expressed his excitement since after teaming up with Bea Alonzo and Sarah Geronimo, he is back again with a different love team. But these exclude Luis Manzano whom he just worked with in his recent movie “In my Life”.

On the other hand Angel Locsin also expressed her excitement and nervousness during the launching of their Shop & Share at Gateway, since she knows how dedicated and the level of acting skills of John Lloyd. But Lloydie just told Angel not to expect too much, the important thing is for them to work together and make their team-up a good one.

John Lloyd Cruz is one of the nominated for the “Best Single Performance by an actor” in the upcoming PMPC Star awards for TV on November 29, 2009 that will be held at Pagcor Grand Theater, Paranaque City. Lloydie is also one of the hosts of the said awards together with Piolo Pascual and Carla Abellana. Angel Locsin is nominated for “Best Drama Actress”.

Yeng Constantino with her latest album “Lapit”

Rock Princess Yeng Constantino is back in the scene with her latest album entitled “Lapit” which is also the title of the carrier single. Yeng had a rest from showbiz for almost one year, and she admits that that she had experienced a “writer’s block” which was the reason why she had a problem writing new songs.

According to Yeng Constantino she had experience a “writer’s block” because of the press people themselves. She had read an article that directly criticizes her writing skills, that says all her songs and melody, sounds the same. A criticism that affected her intensely that she was unable to write new songs.

Good thing Yeng is fine now, she had learned her lessons that she had to choose which news she has to read. She also explained that Raymund Marasigan (drummer of the previous EraserHeads band) is one of her inspirations to continue her new album “Langit”.

Some of the new songs from the album “Langit” are: “’Wag kang magtatanong”, Jeepney Love Story, “Pag-ayaw Mo Na”, “Siguro”, “Takas”, “Maghintay”, “Wag Na”, “Akin Ka Na” at “Siguro”. As for the moment Yeng Constantino is still loveless but she admits she have a crush with Sam Milby and Piolo Pascual.

Kapamilya actor, Piolo Pascual is reportedly courting the mega daughter, KC Concepcion. According to sources, KC Concepcion is delighted with the attention that she is receiving from Piolo Pascual. KC receives numerous French perfume gifts from Papa P that is not usually available here in the Philippines and could last for about 5 years of usage according to KC itself.

But the question is, if KC Concepcion reciprocates the affection that Piolo Pascual is giving, is Papa P ready to settle down? Will he pass the standards of the Mega Star Sharon Cuneta? Or it would just end up like what happened to his previous link ups with Judy Ann Santos and Rica Peralejo? After the blockbuster hit movie of KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez, “When I met You” produced by GMA Films and Regal Entertainment, it looks like they’re going to part their ways for the mean time doing different projects from their respective home network. Richard Gutierrez will be working with Rhian Ramos in the upcoming series, “Zorro” of GMA-7 while KC Concepcion will be paired with Piolo Pascual for the Philippine adaptation of the hit koreanovela, “Lovers in Paris” of the Kapamilya Network, ABS-CBN. “When I Met you” was the second hit movie of Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion, a follow-up from their first movie “For the First time” produced by Star Cinema and directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal.

Piolo Pascual who had recently admitted that he and KC Concepcion have already dated once and expressed that he is planning to court KC according to his previous interviews which would probably have a greater chance now since they will be the new love team for the new koreanovela series. Their team-up had already got the approval of KC’s mother none other than the Mega Star, Ms. Sharon Cuneta. But what do you think would happen to Richard Gutierrez? According to some sources, even before KC Concepcion entered into showbusiness, she already had a crash on Piolo Pascual, a notion that the fans of Richard and KC feared about. Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual Movie went “Down Under”

After two weeks of the opening day of Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual Movie, Love Me Again (Land down under), it seems to be that the great expectations of Star Cinema from it was indeed a failure. Though the premiere night of Angel and Piolo movie was fully supported and certified “jam packed” when they held it at SM Megamall, there was a big decline in the audience in its second day. There were lots of good and bad feedbacks from the movie, but the overall rating was, the movie is still good enough. The movie is not a typical “Kilig Love Story” compared to Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz’ “A very special Love” since the theme of Love Me Again is slightly different according to the movie critics.

Angel Locsin showed her distinct acting skills as well as Piolo Pascual in the movie, but despite their efforts, the movie did not meet its expected income. Write-ups in the tabloids say that the movie was already got pirated and it’s already available in every store who was selling illegal CD’s. Why go to the movies and spend so much money if you can get a copy in cheaper price? – Typical reasons of Pinoys. Above all of the speculations, is it really piracy the main reason why the movie flopped? Or because Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual lacks the so-called “chemistry” as a love team? Just asking…

Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual in Love me Again (Land Down Under)

Two days to go (as of today), Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual will try to hit the big screen in the movie “Love Me Again” (Land Down Under). The movie is under Star Cinema and it will be shown nationwide on January 15, 2009. It’s the first movie of Angel Locsin with Star Cinema since her controversial transfer from GMA-7 to being a kapamilya in ABS-CBN.

Initially, the movie was given the title, “Land Down Under” but since many people or Filipinos merely not quite familiar that Australia is referred to us Land down under, they have decided to change it to Love me again. Tag line of the movie: “This is a story of a woman who goes to the Land Down Under for the sake of her family and her dreams, and the man who would go to the ends of the earth to follow her.”

The film was shot in Bukidnon, Impasug-ong, Malaybalay City and Katherine Australia, a cowboy inspired love story. Main cast Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual were joined by supporting cast AJ Dee, Dimples Romana and Erich Gonzales. Love me again is directed by Rory Quintos.
