Talent Manager Douglas Quijano passed away
Well-known and respected talent manager Douglas Quijano sadly passed away yesterday, June 13, 2009 at the age of 64. Douglas’ body was found lifeless in his home in Lucban, Quezon by his house guest/friend, former Hi! Editor and film director Ces Evangelista, and Douglas’ personal driver named Francis.
Ces Evangelista, was about to wake up the famous talent manager to join her for breakfast but when Ces tried to knock the door of his room at around 10:00AM and Douglas Quijano did not responded, Ces and Francis forced to opened the door and found the body of the well-respected talent manager.
Douglas Quijano is widely known in the showbiz industry handling big stars such as, Richard Gomez, Lucy Torres-Gomez, Joey Marquez, Mark Anthony Fernandez, John Estrada, brothers Anjo and Jomari Yllana, sisters Gelli and Janice De Belen, Wendell Ramos, Antonio Aquitania and a lot more. He also handled stars like Carmina Villarroel, Nadia Montenegro Eric Fructuoso and Claudine Baretto.
The remains of the beloved talent manager, Douglas Quijano will be brought to the Chapel 7 of the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig. Douglas Quijano was supposed to celebrate his 65th birthday on July 24.
