Francis Magalona update: First night of wake
The remains of the master rapper Francis Magalona was laid in Christ the King Parish Chapel located in Greenmeadows, Q.C. that was arranged and organized by his good old friend in showbiz, Herbert Bautista.
At around 12PM last Friday, Francis Magalona succumbs from his battle against Leukemia in The Medical City. And at exactly 4:10PM, the master rapper’s body was announced taken off from the hospital and was sent to the Funeraria Paz in Araneta Avenue.
Friends from showbiz of Francis Magalona were all in the state of shock when they heard about the sad news that even his Eat Bulaga family, where he hosted for 13 long years couldn’t hide their sadness upon his sudden passing.
On the first night of his wake at the Christ the King Chapel, a lot of his fans do pay their last respect for their idol. Kuya Germs, who was known as the first mentor of Francis Magalona during his “That’s Entertainment” days, still couldn’t believe what happened just like other good friends from showbiz of the master rapper.
The last TV appearance of Francis Magalona was in the show, “Wish Ko Lang” of GMA-7 aired last January 25, after having his 4th chemotherapy session.
The wife of Francis Magalona, Pia Arroyo also announces that the chapel is open for public viewing every day from 6:00AM until 6:00PM only and on March 11, Francis’ remains will be cremated.
