Rhian Ramos thankful for the success of Lalola
Lalola aired its last episode last Friday Feb 8, 2009 where kapuso star, Rhian Ramos leads the cast as Lola with leading man, JC de Vera as Facundo. The romantic comedy series was a remake from the hit original telenovela “Lalola” from Argentina. After her very successful launch as a leading actress in Lalola, Rhian Ramos already has a next project in line this coming march.
Although she’s not yet starting to shoot the said upcoming show of GMA-7, Rhian’s detractors were already in full protest, questioning why Rhian Ramos was chosen among all of the stars who auditioned to be one of the leading ladies of Richard Gutierrez in Zorro to think that the actress did not undergo an audition for the show. A lot of accusations were insisting that Rhian Ramos had this so-called “padrino” in her home network resulting to be one of the best bets and favorites of some executives of GMA-7. (Rhian is the niece of GMA-7 executive, Ms. Yda Henares)
From being a teeny bopper and having a sweet image, Rhian Ramos gently evolved into a sophisticated woman and later on showed a lot of improvement in her acting craft according to critics. But even how hard Rhian tries to avoid from being coined as a “teacher’s pet” from her station, a smear campaign had started again against Rhian where she thought that it already had ended a long time ago. Despite of all the intrigues she’s facing, Rhian Ramos is still thankful to all the people who supported their highly rated show, Lalola.
