Father of Iwa Moto succumbs from Cancer
It was last Saturday March 7, 2009 when Starstruck batch 3 2nd princess, Iwa Moto (Aileen Quimapo Iwamoto in real life) received the news that his father, Hirawaki Iwamoto who resides in Japan already died due to liver and bone cancer. It was thru her relatives that Iwa Moto received the sad news and it’s the day after the Philippine’s Master Rapper, Francis Magalona had passed away too.
In an Interview, Iwa Moto narrates that she really regrets for the time that she was not able to take care of her father during his last few days, when he aired his last breath and during the time of his wake and cremation. When Iwa Moto knew that she’ll not be able to go to Japan to attend to her father’s wake, she just went to Francis Magalona’s wake instead. Iwa Moto talked to Francis and asked for a favor to deliver her message to her father Hirawaki that she really loves him and apologizes for the time she was not beside him when he was in pain. Iwa Moto is now planning to go to Japan to bring home her father’s ashes to the Philippines.
When Iwa Moto was asked for her message to his father, she bursts into tears. “Kahit alam kong malayo ka, alam kong .. gagabayan mo kaming dalawa ni Mickey,(her younger sister) sana andyan ka lang palagi para samin. I Love you Pa, sobrang mahal na mahal kita, sorry kung wala ako noong mga panahon na naghihirap ka, sorry.”
