Zyrene Parsad is the lucky pinay celebrity who sang the National anthem of the Philippines during the boxing match between Manny Pacquiao vs Antionio Margarito. Compared to the other celebrities who already sang for Manny Pacquiao she is still on her way to hitting the main stream. Zyrene Parsad is one of the contestants of “Are you the Big Star” which was aired in Kapuso Network GMA-7. The show was hosted by Regine Velasques and Keempee De Leon last May 2009 until August of the same year.
Zerene Parsad was included in the Circle 16 composing of eight boys and eight girls out of forty contestants.
Congratulations to Zerene Parsad for singing the national anthem and for singing it safe (in a very low pitch) and of course to Manny Pacquiao for the winning his eight title! Though there was no knock down during the twelve rounds giving a new name for Antionio Margarito is already enough, “Maga Rito”, lol.
Whoa is this a remake? Or a pinoy celebrity is going to be the lead star? Well the answer is both no. It is actually the real Charlie Chaplin in the movie “The Circus”. This was just discovered by Chizmosa Jen today when it was featured on yahoo.com. The weird thing about this particular movie is that there was a scene captured a woman walking while holding something in her hand. It seems that it is a cell phone, as you would see she is clearly talking with somebody with it. But what’s the weird thing about it? Well this movie was filmed in 1928!!!
There were no cell phone or mobile phone yet during that time, and if there is there are no cell sites or satellites yet during that time to work with. Many have speculated including the person who uploaded the video that it’s a time traveler from the future? Hmmm
What happened to Chizmosa Lounge to post a story like this? Nothing really, was just amazed with the idea. Many thoughts have wondered in Vhincent’s head when he watched this short clip. As an avid follower of TV series like Start Trek (the next generation, enterprise, voyager), Star wars, Star gate (SG1, Atlantis, Universe), Marvel, DC etc. maybe it’s really a time traveler from the future. Have several other possibilities what this is;

But I really doubt letters d, e, and f since solid state electronics (transistors) was invented in the 50’s (if my mind serves me right from college days) only vacuum tubes exist during that period. It a huge glowing like light bulbs that you’ll see inside in black and white TV’s and radios in the old days. So items d, e and f would surely be in the size of refrigerators of today, hehe no kidding if it’s true. They will hardly be able to carry it like that. And remember in World War two or Vietnam War, how American soldiers call back their base? They carry this huge two way radio system on their back with long antennas.
Anyway this are just my rumblings, hopefully our next post is a juicy chizmis! So what’s in your mind? Do you concur or not.
Looks like Richard Gutierrez has already move-on after his break-up with rumored girlfriend Jewel Mische, just by simple being open to talked about it with the press is a sign. According to some write-ups the break-up just happened before the taping of his current reality TV show Survivor Philippines Celebrity showdown in Thailand.
But Richard Gutierrez also admits that his break-up with Jewel Mische is not that simple and they have not totally move on, it’s a slow process that everyone needs to take.
Now that he is single again, Richard is currently being link-up with Solenn Heussaff a celebrity cast away of GMA-7’s reality TV show Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown. Richard admits that they do hang-out frequently but they are just friends. Solenn Heussaff also denies that they are already in a relationship, same as Richard they are just friends. And as Solenn explains, she doesn’t want to preempt the future.

Looks like Glaiza De Castro level-up a notch on her career as she will now portray a Lead role on GMA-7’s upcoming “telefantasya” Grazilda. Glaiza has been known for being a villain or a great detractor from other lead stars, she was Gladys from “Kung lahat ay aagawin sakin”, Eunice in “Stairway to Heaven” and Tiffany from the “Kanta Serye” Diva.
But can Glaiza De Castro be an effective lead cast as she was an effective detractor as expected by the Kapuso Network GMA-7? Most probably we have to wait and see until the new “telefantasya” starts. As for the Moment Glaiza is thankful and still can’t believe the network for giving her the chance.
Grazilda has a 19th century setting and Geoff Eigenmann will portray as her modern leading man. With the two working now together wouldn’t their closeness be a problem with the real-life lover’s Geoff and Carla Abellana?

In a recent write-up in the tabloids Ding Dong Dantes and Bayani Agbayani had a fight and the reason behind it was no other than Marian rivera. It is said that Bayani Agbayani spitted on Marian Rivera while taping GMA-7’s comedy sitcom “Show Me Da Manny”.
Bayani Agbayani was given a chance to explain to the press what really happened between him and Ding dong and Marian. Bayani said that it happened a long time ago, last December 2009 when he was guessed on one of the shows episode. He portrayed a character where his brain became screwed up by a punch and he became a “Bondying” and Marian was her yaya.
There was a scene where he was sleeping on the lap of Marian Rivera, not knowing that there was a part that somebody will feed him with a giant feeding bottle with almost 3 gallons of milk with a giant hole on the nipple. With his mouth full of milk, he burst it all out and Marian Rivera was hit on the breast. Despite of what had happened they have continued taping the show. But right after scenario, Marian poured the remaining milk on his face. Since they were not able to talk with each other after the show he failed to ask for an apology.
Bayani thought that everything is ok since it was a long time ago and they already saw each other at the Megamall and Marian Rivera even introduced him to her mother.
During the Party of Ogie Alcasid Ding Dong Dantes hold his hand asked him to explain what really happened and Bayani Agbayani did, and it seems everything is fine now between him, Ding Dong and Marian.
It was the very first time that international star Charice Pampangco was seen on Kapuso network GMA-7 last Saturday July 17, 2010 on its longest noontime show Eat Bulaga. Charice Pengpenco is one of the guest stars during opening presentation of the said Show, she sang her latest single “Pyramid” from her self-titled album “Charice”.
Other guest stars who had a dance presentation are Wyn Wyn Marquez, daughter of Alma Moreno and Joey Marquez, Enzo Pineda, Joseph Bitangcol and Iza Calzado. They were joined by dabarkads Julia Clarete, Ruby Rodriguez, and Paulene Luna.
It was after the presentation when Joey De Leon did his job. While Charice Penpemco was being interviewed by Pia Guanio, Joey De Leon sneak on Charice Pempengco from the back and stole a kiss to the chick.
For the meantime Charice Pempengco will be staying in the US for a long time since she will be casting the musical tv show Glee. While Joey De Leon will be hosting a new game show on GMA-7 starting tomorrow July 20, 2010 entitled “Spin it Win it”.
That’s the latest intrigue that Charice Pempengco as a intaernational star and singer she will be receiving a $100,000 talent fee per episode from the musical tv show Glee in the US. According to some write-ups Charice will portray as an exchange student of the said show for their upcoming second season.
As for the moment Charice Pempenco just came back from Korea, visiting the show where she was discovered by Ellen DeGeneres, where her international career started. During the interview she mentioned that she is happy and excited in promoting her latest album here in the Philippines.
But for the talent fee of $100,000 per episode, the management of the international star have denied that this is true. But they didn’t mention also the correct amount as expected.

During the Proclamation oath taking ceremony of President Noynoy Aquino, international singing sensation Charice Pempengco renders her own version of the “Lupang Hinirang” the national anthem of the Philippines.
Compared to other singers who rendered their own rendition of the “Lupang Hinirang”, looks like that Charice Pempengco is the only singer who followed the original and official version of the national anthem.
Do you think that the her version would spur another criticism despite her efforts? Like the rendition of Arnel Pineda during the Pacquiao vs Clottey fight? On the other hand, Charice Pempenco will be joining the cast of Glee, a musical drama television series in its upcoming new season where she will be portraying an exchange student.

Speculation is, Rachel mother of Charice Pempengco is not in good terms with her very own mother and to her husband, and Charice is the center of all this misunderstandings. The question is why is she letting this all happen, why not be a bridge for all of them instead of taking sides?
