Richard Gutierrez vs PEP update
Vacation is finally over and looks like showbiz intrigue is back, after the reported Richard Gutierrez gun-toting incident with Michael Flores by PEP, Richard has now filed a libel suit against Philippine Entertainment Portal with a whapping 25 Million Pesos worth of damages, 15 million for moral damages and 10 million pesos for exemplary damages. Though PEP’s Editor-in-chief Jo-ann Maglipon already expressed their public apology, Richard Gutierrez was not satisfied with PEP’s clarification about the issue wherein the Kapuso actor also said that “PEP apologizes for the wrong reasons.”
Now that Richard Gutierrez is back from the US, the Zorro lead star formally went at the Makati City Regional Trial Court yesterday, April 13 and filed a libel case against Philippine Entertainment Portal. “Maraming artista ang nabibiktima ng ganitong klaseng false journalism at nagkataon lang na nangyari ito sa akin. Nakakalungkot na kailangang mangyari ito, pero I just want to get to the bottom of this and we wanna find out the truth kung sinong tao ang nasa likod nito. That’s why we’re doing this. We already gave them a second chance that’s why we are here.” Richard explains.
After all of the issues that Richard Gutierrez had been through, the hot pinoy celebrity is still very thankful to all of his fans for their continuous support, for believing in him and standing on his side in these times of negative accusations.
