Chizmosa Lounge break from gossips: Let’s talk about vanity!

This commercial break is brought to us by one of the most active bloggers in the web! None other than Sonnet’s Haven and Salve! Of course, we cannot say no to their invitation (yahoo!) they’ve passed this tag on us asking to write something about make-up. And fortunately, I was assigned to answer the whole thing on my own! (Of course I’ll be the one to be responsible for this, my husband only knows how to develop programs in the web! Haha…)

Well, when I was in my college years, I was never interested in putting colors on my face even though I’m into arts then. My concern is all about my skin, more on the “lotion” aspect. Until when I graduated and started to work professionally, I then managed to put some “blush” on my cheeks and a little of the “face powder” effect which I’ve learned from a friend. Years after, I’ve got more interested with make ups and I’ve even got vain with my hair. I really had this addiction of maintaining my hair into good shape by regularly visiting my favorite salon (one of the hairstylist became my friend and he was also the one who’ve done my hairstyle and make up on my wedding day.) A year again had passed when I’ve got the opportunity to work in a newly built six star hotel in Macau, where I was assigned to work in the casino section. That was the time when I’ve learned a lot on how to put proper make up on my face. The management really inspects our face before we go to work and face the guests each day. I must admit that I got really hooked on buying make ups and other vanity products in Macau, China and Hong Kong. I really enjoyed shopping for those items like liquid eyeliners, lip gloss, lipsticks, blush, bronzers, glitter eye shadows and a lot more! I’ve also proved that Chinese are really much vain and artistic when it comes to their skin and face because there were a lot of cosmetic stores with a variety of unique products scattered in Macau! (Makes me missed the place so much…)
