Valerie Concepcion axed in Banana Split
Kapamilya young actress and wowowee host, Valerie Concepcion was reportedly axed in the sexy-comedy gag show of ABS-CBN, Banana Split which airs every Saturday evening. The sexy hot mama was confirmed ‘out’ of the cast on its upcoming 3rd season together with two other stars, Roxanne Guinoo and Dianne Medina.
According to an article in a tabloid, Valerie’s manager, Becky Aguila refused to accept the budget offered by the production of Banana Split to her talent Valerie Concepcion. Showbiz columnists heard that the production of ABS-CBN’s Banana Split had reduced the talent fee offered to Valerie due to the program’s cost-cutting measures.
Becky Aguila also clarified that everything was properly settled upon Valerie’s exit on the show. “This is not about performance or attitude. Val was doing well but we really had to let it go,” says Becky. Valerie Concepcion is the third person that was dismantled in Banana Split while Cristine Reyes, Angelica Panganiban, RR Enriquez and Princess Ryan will still be staying as original cast members of the show.
As of now, Valerie Concepcion stays very positive on her outlook now that she renewed another 6 month contract on the noontime show of ABS-CBN, Wowowee.
